Over 14 km of white sandy beach, lush vegetation, spectacular landscapes, sensational sunsets, warm and friendly people, coral reefs, islands, impressive waterfalls, mangrove forests, and many flower species in all colors, that is San Vicente, the town populated with only 30,000 inhabitants, located on the eastern side of the Palawan archipelago, in the Philippines.
I stayed at Peace and Love, a wonderful resort about which I wrote in the previous article, and spent 2 beautiful and quiet days, which included strolling on the Long Beach, the longest white sandy beach in the Philippines, taking many pictures, admiring sunsets, tasting traditional dishes, but also relaxing near and in the infinity pool.
Unfortunately, the weather did not really keep up with me, so only one day of the two I didn’t spend at the hotel.
I took full advantage of it, and went to the downtown market, filled with exotic fruit stalls, fresh fish recently caught in the harbour, and a lot of smile on the faces of the vendors, who were very happy to see two tourists walking through the town.
Yes, San Vicente is not yet a known place and stormed by tourists, that’s why I urge you to visit it now when it’s still a virgin.
I took many, many pictures, but I chose only 20 of them, the most beautiful and most representative, in my view. I hope you like them and consider San Vicente a good option for your future trips. Enjoy:
