Am tot spus in articolele anterioare, dar simt nevoia sa repet la nesfarsit: Miami Beach este orasul in care mi-ar placea sa locuiesc. 😀
Cred cu tarie in ideea ca locul in care traiesti iti poate influenta radical dispozitia si starea de spirit, iar Miami Beach este un oras extrem de frumos, de vesel si de colorat, care ar putea sa faca fericit pe oricine sau, cel putin, pe iubitorii de apa, plaja, soare, distractie si palmieri.
Nici temperatura medie anuala nu este un criteriu de ignorat. In Miami nu exista sezon rece, te poti balaci in apele Oceanului Atlantic 12 luni din 12 si te poti bucura de un bronz perfect tot anul.
Ce-i drept, exista perioade in care ploua aproape zilnic acolo si strazile se inunda intr-un timp foarte scurt, insa in cea mai mare parte din timp, Miami este insorit si cald.
Un simplu search pe Google, tastand Miami Beach, iti va dezvalui o sumedenie de imagini frumoase cu palmieri, hoteluri in stil Art Deco (apropo, in Miami Beach vei gasi cea mai mare colectie de cladiri in stil Art Deco din lume, despre care am vorbit si aici), plaje mari cu nisip fin, faimoasa strada Ocean Drive, cu cele mai tari cluburi si restaurante din Florida, resedintele vedetelor si bogatasilor de pe Star Island, masini luxoase cu multi cai putere, dar si foarte multe nave de croaziera, care te pot purta intr-o vacanta de neuitat in Caraibe sau chiar in Costa Rica, Puerto Rico sau pe plajele din Cancun, Mexic. Nu am ajuns inca intr-o croaziera, dar este pe wishlist si sper sa-mi indeplinesc aceasta dorinta cat de curand.
In Miami Beach am fost doi ani la rand si pentru ca m-am indragostit iremediabil de statiune, m-am gandit sa fac acest articol in care sa pun TOP 20- Cele mai frumoase fotografii pe care eu le-am facut aici, in speranta ca va vor inspira si pe voi sa vizitati aceasta superba regiune din Statele Unite.
Cautand fotografiile in arhiva, mi-am dat seama ca nu am facut foarte multe si cred ca motivul principal este faptul ca am uitat efectiv sa scot aparatul foto si sa imortalizez peisajele in cateva cadre care sa-mi ramana ca amintire.
Este atat de frumos in Miami, incat atmosfera de acolo te ajuta sa te deconectezi de la tot ce inseamna tehnologie si sa te bucuri cu adevarat de tot ceea ce se afla in jurul tau.

I have always loved all things Art Deco and I discovered the Art Deco District of Miami Beach in 1988 from Barbara Capitman’s book „Deco Delights.” I lived in Kansas City at the time and didn’t know that in just 3 years, I would be working & living in Orlando, FL. Due to paranoid coworkers, I didn’t visit South Beach for the first time until 1994. I shot 10 rolls of 35mm film that first trip. I also shot 35mm stereoscopic photos with a 1949 Realist camera. In 2009 I finally went digital with 2 cameras connected for 3D. I have posted many of my 3D photos on Pinterest. I don’t know how many people visit South Beach just to take in the Architecture, but that’s the reason I visit.

Sure. The link is http://www.pinterest.com/gregoryhighfill but to enlarge the photos, you have to „join” Pinterest, which is free. The pin boards are full of small thumbnail photos that you can click on to make larger. Under the right corner of the photo is an „open” button that will enlarge the image further to fill a window. To view in 3D you need red/cyan glasses, which can be found very cheaply. Just Google „anaglyph glasses.” I hope you enjoy the 3D photos! 😀
