Alaturi de <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.whisperwanderlust.com\/ro\/best-things-to-do-in-al-ula-saudi-arabia\/\">Madain Saleh<\/a><\/strong><\/em> si cartierul Al Balad din Jeddah, Edge of the World, cu numele oficial de Jebel Fihrayn, este in top destinatii populare din Arabia Saudita.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Turistii care vin aici sunt atrasi de relieful dramatic, cu stanci spectaculoase de pe varful carora poti admira privelistea unei vai nemarginite. La fel si aspectul reliefului, care sugereaza prezenta apei din trecut.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Edge of the World este excursia ideala de o zi din <span style=\"color: #de125d;\"><em><strong><a style=\"color: #de125d;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.whisperwanderlust.com\/ro\/obiective-turistice-riyadh\/\">capitala Riyadh<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/span>, fiind situat la aproximativ 2 ore distanta fata de aceasta.&nbsp; Nu doar de destinatia finala merita sa te bucuri, ci si calatoria in sine. Pentru a ajunge aici, vei trace prin desert si vei vedea oaze cu palmieri, copaci acacia si multe camile. Mai intai va trebui sa ajungi in Al Uyaynah, rutele au in comun aceasta localitate. Apoi, drumurile difera, astfel:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><strong>Prima ruta spre Edge of the World &#8211; Sadus Dam<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>De la Al Uyaynah, mai mergi 30 km pana ajungi la Sadus Dam. Il ocolesti si urmezi drumul din dreapta, off-road, aproximativ 24 km. Desi distanta este relativ mica, de la Sadus Dam pana la Edge of the World vei conduce cel putin o ora si jumatate. Singurul marcaj este alcatuit din urmele lasate de catre alte autovehicule. Asadar, drumul poate fi intuit, insa nu este foarte usor de urmat.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In drum spre Edge of the World, vei intalni camile, cateva corturi si multe rauri secate. In functie de precipitatiile din ultima vreme, acestea vor fi mai usor sau mai greu de traversat.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>De asemenea, cu cativa km inainte de Edge of the World vei intalni un loc care pe Google Maps este gasit cu denumirea de Hidden Cave. Este un fel de pestera sapata in subteran, in care poti cobori pe o scara. Pe acelasi drum spre Sadus Dam, dar cu cateva minute mai devreme, va trebui sa faci stanga pe un drum notat in Google Maps cu &#8222;Access to EOW&#8221;. Le poti gasi pe retelele de socializare sau pe Google, insa unii raspund destul de greu. Preturile pot porni de la 200 SAR si pot sari de 1000 daca iti doresti tur privat. In Arabia Saudita se negociaza astfel de tururi, insa nu te astepta sa scada pretul prea mult.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tururile cu ghid incep undeva in jurul orei 2 pm, dar exista si posibilitatea organizarii chiar mai tarziu de atat. Nu am gasit nicio companie dispusa a merge la Edge of The World dimineata. In general, tururile organizeaza si o cina in desert, insa la finalul excursiei. Daca vrei sa mergi cu masina la Edge of the World, atunci trebuie sa inchiriezi una. Iti recomand sa alegi doar o masina de teren, un 4*4, pentru ca altfel este posibil sa ramai impotmolit pe undeva. Inchirierea unei masini 4*4 pentru o zi costa in jur de 400-600 SAR. Noi am ales-o pe cea din imagine, un Hyundai Tucson 4*4 pentru care am platit 500 SAR.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Chiar daca sunt oameni care afirma ca poti ajunge acolo cu orice fel de masina, eu tin sa contrazic asta. Am avut momente in care nu mai stiam exact in ce directie sa o luam. Urmele lasate de alte masini se bifurca de multe ori si trebuie sa consulti harta.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Semnalul la internet se mai pierde pe alocuri, asa ca e musai sa ai harta descarcata pentru o orientare mai buna.
